Corona Virus, Compassion, & Your Work Attendance Policies
Okay, Multifamily Family, let's talk about the messaging we are giving our employees during this COVID-19 Issue. This isn't a note from a multifamily management (at least I hope it isn't), but I share this as a reminder that what you say as your health policy may communicate more to your employees than what you intend. Please make sure that your policy isn't draconian and if it feels like it is, then try to inject a little compassion. There are a lot of crazy things happening with quarantines and cancellations, and we can make this all work IF we choose to first prioritize our employees and their health and family needs. In fact, that's the ONLY way we make this work.
